We had a good thing, there was no doubt about that.
We were two people in love, but that all faded away. We were too opposite. We constantly butted heads and the conflict never seemed to stop. We held on for who knows why and we dealt with the pain and the unhappiness and we tried to make it work, but in the end there was really nothing to work on. There was nothing left us of. We exhausted all our efforts, you more than me, and the only thing left to do was to part ways.
This is for the absolute best. It’s so bittersweet and it truly hurts. But it’s for our best interest. You weren’t good to me and I wasn’t good for you. We had good intentions but we just didn’t work out. It’s over and we’ll be okay. I’m so sad it had to end like this but I’m also so happy that I can finally remove you from my life. Goodbye.
